You can go online today and find a million or more directions that will tell you how to have success, be happy, or find love. Really, it's not that difficult to understand. Jesus summed it up in two sentences: "Love God" and "Love Others." One of the many benefits of loving God is the discovery of being loved, by God. Once you find that, you discover the true joy of loving others, and as Jesus also said, "all the other things shall be added to you."
As far as directions, to get where you're going, this is where you come in, and not by way of the million different ways I spoke about earlier. Your faith, no matter how great, or how little, is a lot to work with, when it is placed in God's hands. Your journey begins with you, and not so much in the "directions." Your step is the first step into your destiny. Your faith is more than enough to begin with, in the hands of God.
So, what do you say? Would you like me to sit here and tell you all the programs we have, or all the classes we offer to make you feel like we can fix you, or would you like to bypass all the formalities, and get straight to it? The truth of the matter is, God chooses broken vessels. God Chooses incomplete vessels. God chooses lonely vessels. Well, in fact, God chooses willing vessels. Are you willing? Once again, this journey begins with you.Let's get started, together!
Kid's Ministry
Our children's ministry is on point! We are committed to ensuring the value and comfort of every student, from the moment they walk through the door of our facility.
Our Wednesday night ministry is Kidz Blitz and the goal is to create an environment that maximizes our students opportunities to develop and grow in their walk with Jesus Christ.
We serve a meal for the children at 6 PM. Come check us out out. You wont be disappointed!
Home and World Missions
Here at WAG, we are passionate about World Missions and local Missions. Over the last three years, we have increased out budget to serve our missionaries financially, and have added to our new missionary field support each year. As of now, we currently support Hungary, Senegal, and the Republic of Congo. We are thankful to see them preach the Gospel around the world.
As part of our home missions ministry, we support Teen Challenge Sandhills, Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center and Angel House Hospice Care. If you'd like to partner with us, please donate to bless these projects by clicking on our donations tab.
Teen Group
Being a teen is challenging, to say the least. Trying to keep up with peers in school, sports, and wherever else life might take them, can be overwhelming. Well, not at WAG! Our youth group is designed to engage your teen wherever they may be. We allow them to be themselves, and just be.
Come out on Wednesday evening, @ 6:30 PM. and see how they come home. You be the judge. We guarantee you, they will want to come back!
Women's Ministry
Have you ever been part of "women's Ministry" where there was no ministry? You know what I'm talking about: the meetings are all business, fundraisers, and bake sales. Well, that sounds relaxing... NOT! Our ladies are about coming together and having fun, taking time from busy schedules and laughing together. Now that's ministry. How can anyone minister to others when they are scraping the bottom of the barrel in their own lives? Come out, ladies. Get plugged in, filled up, and discover the value of being together with people who are looking to enjoy some down time, just like you.
